This is a fully onsite role near Elkhart, Indiana. This opportunity is full-time and direct hire.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead all aspects of accounting and finance, including general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and present accurate, timely financial statements and insights to executive leadership
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business strategy
- Partner with operations to support cost accounting and drive efficiencies within a manufacturing environment
- Develop and lead a team of accounting professionals while improving processes and internal controls
What We Need From You
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Strong background within a manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of cost accounting principles
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and audits
All-Star Skillset
The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:
- Experience supporting plant operations or plant-level finance
- Background in public accounting
- CPA designation
- Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on financial strategy
