The Director of Facilities guides strategy, defines standards, and directs facilities operations for all venues to ensure each location operates at peak performance. This role maintains venues as fresh, secure, functional, and visually outstanding environments, exemplifying operational excellence and elevating the guest experience.

This leader oversees the condition, maintenance, and presentation of all physical assets, including bathrooms, turf, landscaping, parking lots, furniture, exterior spaces, and overall venue appearance. The Director of Facilities partners closely with on-site Facilities Team Members to build a proactive culture that anticipates issues, identifies opportunities for improvement, and resolves problems quickly and effectively.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator and strategic leader who excels in dynamic, multi-unit settings and recognizes that facilities directly influence hospitality, guest perception, and operational achievement.

Location: Plano, TX (In Office and 50% travel)

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Standards

  • Lead facilities operations across all venues nationwide
  • Direct daily operations, including maintenance, repairs, security, housekeeping, waste management, and landscaping, to guarantee the smooth functioning of all facilities
  • Set and enforce operational and appearance standards across all properties.
  • Ensure all venue assets remain in excellent condition, including:
  • Bathrooms
  • Turf and golf areas
  • Landscaping
  • Parking lots
  • Furniture and fixtures
  • Exterior appearance
  • Lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Conduct regular venue inspections and facility audits
  • Identify operational deficiencies and implement corrective action plans quickly and effectively
  • Ensure all venues maintain a fresh, clean, and guest-ready appearance at all times

Preventative Maintenance & Systems

  • Build and maintain preventative maintenance programs across all venues
  • Create scalable systems, SOPs, and processes for facilities operations
  • Develop tools and reporting systems that improve visibility and accountability
  • Anticipate potential operational issues before they impact the guest experience
  • Standardize maintenance execution across all locations
  • Evaluate recurring issues and implement long-term solutions

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Recruit, train, inspire, and manage facilities staff and contractors to uphold high performance standards.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Team Members at each venue to foster accountability and execution.
  • Coach and develop field teams to maintain strict maintenance standards, prioritize urgency, and solve problems
  • Build a culture of ownership and operational pride within facilities teams
  • Manage vendor relationships, contractors, and service providers across all markets
  • Negotiate and oversee service contracts for HVAC, pest control, snow removal, landscaping, and other facility services
  • Guarantee vendor performance aligns with company expectations, timelines, and operational standards
  • Support venue refreshes, renovations, capital improvements, and new store openings

Budgeting, Safety & Compliance

  • Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for maintenance, capital projects, and vendor contracts while ensuring cost-effective solutions
  • Assist in long-term capital planning and facilities forecasting
  • Establish and enforce safety standards across all venues
  • Ensure compliance with health, environmental, safety, and building regulations
  • Manage emergency preparedness plans and coordinate response efforts when necessary
  • Maintain maintenance logs, vendor contacts, inspection reports, and operational documentation
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Culinary, Training, and Development teams to support venue performance and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of facilities management experience within hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, retail, or other multi-unit operations
  • Experience managing facilities across multiple locations and markets
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical systems
  • Landscaping and turf maintenance
  • General building maintenance and repair
  • Show proven ability to establish preventive maintenance systems and operational processes.
  • Experience leading vendors, contractors, and field-based facilities teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and execute with urgency
  • Budgeting and capital planning experience preferred
  • Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution
  • Willingness to travel frequently to venue locations nationwide
  • Available for after-hours emergencies and operational support when needed
