About the Club
Established in 1958, Fairmount Country Club is a premier, family-oriented private country club located in Chatham, New Jersey, just a short train ride from New York City. Set on a picturesque 128-acre property, Fairmount offers an 18-hole championship golf course, two clubhouses, state-of-the-art pool and racquet facility, and a vibrant year-round membership experience.
Following the completion of a transformational Main Clubhouse renovation (2026), Fairmount is entering an exciting new chapter and looking to grow on private events. The Club is also well-positioned to further elevate its member programming, golf outings, and overall member experience while continuing to preserve the warmth, character, and community culture that define Fairmount.
