Role Description

The Director of Early Childhood Education serves as the primary leader, administrator, and visionary for our early childhood program. This individual is responsible for the daily operations of the Early Childhood Center, faculty hiring and supervision, curriculum design and implementation, and regulatory compliance while serving as a key liaison between the school and the Early Childhood Center families.


Qualifications

  • Faith: A committed Christian who is active in a local church and can lead others in their spiritual growth
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Elementary Education or a related field ( Master's degree preferred)
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of Louisiana state childcare regulations and private school early childhood programs
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage early childhood center logistics; and a servant leader mindset.


Physical requirements

Ability to actively supervise a school campus, including outdoor playground areas

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (i.e. assisting small children)
