Role Description
The Director of Capital Markets will lead capital formation, financing strategy, and investor engagement across the Dawn Group International (DGI) platform and its investment vehicles. This role is responsible for structuring and executing debt and equity financing strategies to support acquisitions, developments, and operational growth across the firm's sports, entertainment, and real estate investments. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in capital markets & commercial real estate, with a demonstrable track record of ambition & success.
The Director of Capital Markets will work closely with the CEO, Senior Executive Vice President, and investment leadership to source institutional and private capital, manage lender and investor relationships, and develop capital strategies that align with DGI’s long-term growth objectives.
Core Responsibilities
Capital Raising & Investor Relations:
· Lead equity fundraising initiatives from institutional investors, family offices, private investors, and strategic partners.
· Maintain and develop relationships with equity partners, limited partners, and capital providers.
· Prepare investor presentations, offering materials, and fundraising documentation.
· Support investor communications including updates, reporting coordination, and investor meetings.
Debt Financing & Capital Structuring:
· Source and structure debt financing for acquisitions, development projects, and portfolio assets.
· Maintain relationships with banks, debt funds, and alternative lenders.
· Coordinate loan negotiations, term sheets, and closing processes.
· Assist leadership in structuring capital stacks that optimize returns and manage risk.
Investment & Transaction Support:
· Support underwriting and financial analysis related to financing strategies and capital structuring.
· Work with legal, finance, and investment teams to coordinate transaction execution.
· Participate in due diligence processes related to capital formation and financing activities.
· Assist leadership in evaluating joint venture and partnership structures.
Capital Strategy & Market Intelligence:
· Monitor capital market trends and identify financing opportunities.
· Provide strategic insights on interest rates, debt markets, and investor sentiment.
· Support leadership in evaluating optimal financing strategies for the DGI portfolio.
· Track financing performance and maintain lender and investor databases.
Portfolio Support:
· Support financing and capital initiatives for Dawn Capital real estate projects.
· Assist with capital planning and investment structuring for Dawn Sports & Entertainment ventures.
· Coordinate with portfolio company leadership on financing and recapitalization opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
· 7-12 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, private equity, real estate finance, or related fields.
· A strong understanding of debt and equity capital markets and investment structures.
· Experience working with lenders, institutional investors, and private capital partners. Prior good relationships also a positive.
· Strong financial modelling and underwriting skills.
· Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
· Must have U.S. work authorization.

Working Conditions & Leadership Structure
· The position is on-site working, located in Oklahoma City.
· Typical work week is Monday – Friday.

· Must have U.S. work authorization.
· The Director of Capital Markets will report directly to the CEO / Senior Executive Vice President and will collaborate with:
· Investment and finance leadership of Dawn Group International.
· Leadership teams of Dawn Sports & Entertainment and Dawn Capital.
· External investors, lenders, and capital partners.
· This role is responsible for supporting the capital formation strategy of the DGI platform and ensuring the organization has efficient access to capital to support its investment and development initiatives.
