Judge Direct Placement is seeking a degreed EHS Director in Cincinnati, OH area! The candidate will administer all EHS programs and ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legislation and EHS safety codes
Asses risk potential across the organization and ensure proper signage, guarding and protection measures are in place
Develop internal policies and procedures
Involved with all regulatory agencies and internal staff regarding inspections, audits, incident reports, responses, and corrective actions (e.g., OSHA, EPA, USDA, DOT, INS, CDC, etc.)
Assist with the Process Safety Management program, including a three year audit
Establish protocols, oversee & conduct accident investigation as well as reoccurring prevention programs & procedures
Manage & track all safety violations and maintain necessary records
Participate and direct Safety Committees
Design safety & compliance training for all employees
Monitor all current information on regulations and requirements
Direct industrial hygiene, occupational, and general safety programs
Work with insurance broker for annual audits conducted by the underwriter
Work with the HR team on audits
Work with vendors for annual inspections
Responding and assisting in all emergency situations
Produce quarterly EHS data
Keep up to date safety methods and procedures
Requirements:
BS degree (Engineering, Environmental Science, or Health & Safety)
