Director Content Marketing

Caesars Entertainment
Las Vegas, NV

The Director, Content Marketing serves as the strategic and operational engine behind Caesars Entertainment’s enterprise SEO and AI discovery ecosystem. This role leads how Caesars.com—and all supporting digital properties—are discovered across traditional search engines, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platforms, and emerging AI-driven experiences. With a lean, high-impact team (Director + Specialist) and expansive business scope (all properties, all digital lines of business), this leader must excel at prioritization, hands-on execution, and operational efficiency. You will design the strategy, determine where to focus limited resources for maximum impact, and personally drive critical initiatives that influence how millions of travelers discover, evaluate, and book with Caesars.

Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Prioritization

  • Define and continuously refine Caesars Entertainment’s enterprise-wide SEO, GEO, and content discovery strategy across all brands, properties, and digital business lines.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize initiatives based on business impact, scalability, and speed-to-value, balancing long-term platform investments with near-term performance gains.
  • Establish clear decision frameworks to determine where SEO and content efforts can most effectively drive incremental revenue and organic growth.

Hands-On Leadership & Execution

  • Serve as both strategist and senior practitioner, directly owning complex SEO, GEO, and content initiatives where leverage is highest.
  • Partner closely with the SEO Specialist to assign work intentionally, remove friction, and ensure execution remains tightly aligned to strategic goals.
  • Personally lead initiatives involving technical SEO alignment, large-scale content optimization, AI visibility improvements, and search experience innovation.

Cross-Functional Influence

  • Collaborate with PR, Social, Paid Media, Affiliates, eCommerce, and Regional Marketing to align priorities and integrate content into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the Content Marketing team in thought‑leadership forums and demand-generation discussions.

Operational Excellence & Efficiency

  • Design lightweight, scalable workflows that maximize output from a small team while maintaining editorial quality, speed, and governance.
  • Build repeatable processes for content creation, optimization, publishing, and performance measurement across a broad content footprint.
  • Oversee and optimize relationships with external partners (e.g., Skyword, Brandlight), ensuring vendor work is tightly scoped, outcome-driven, and complementary to internal capabilities.

Content Governance & Editorial Excellence

  • Act as the central SEO and organic discovery partner to PR, Social, Paid Media, Affiliates, eCommerce, Product, and Regional Marketing teams.
  • Influence roadmaps and campaigns across the organization to ensure SEO and AI discoverability are embedded early—not bolted on late.
  • Represent SEO and Content Marketing in executive discussions, advocating for investments based on business impact and measurable outcomes.

Performance Management & Insights

  • Define and monitor content performance metrics including incremental visits, keyword rankings, organic visibility shifts, and conversion impacts.
  • Develop reporting frameworks that clearly demonstrate content ROI and inform strategic and budget decisions.

  • Use performance insights to continuously reallocate effort toward the highest-impact opportunities.
