About the Position

We are seeking experienced, dependable, compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work with adults in Butler, NJ to build self-help skills and engage in leisure activities at home and in the community.

Job Responsibilities – $22-24/hr

• Engage the individual by executing programs developed by the supervising BCBA (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks, community activities).
• Support goals listed in the Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
• Promote independence through hands-on teaching, coaching, and prompts, as needed.
• Complete required data collection during each 1:1 teaching sessions accurately and promptly, using Google Drive applications as well as MS office and other applicable technology.
• Transport individuals to planned activities.

Required Qualifications (NJ DDD Standards)

• High school diploma or equivalent. (Associates or greater preferred) 
• Ability to complete mandatory NJ DDD trainings, including:
• Danielle’s Law
• CPR/First Aid
• Preventing Abuse & Neglect
• Medication Administration
• HCBS
• PBS
