We are seeking an additional full-time Dietary Supervisor to join our team. This position is scheduled from 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM, with every other weekend rotation from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes and special diet orders. Assists the Dietitian with the food service program and provides the level of supervision necessary to ensure that courteous and efficient service is delivered as well as high quality and nutritious foods.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in food service operations within a health care setting.
Certifications: Certified in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent). Within 6 months of hire.
Preferred: Experience in a long-term care environment is highly desirable. Previous supervisory experience.
Starting Rate of Pay: $24/hr, DOQ
Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to empathize and work effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
Ability to interpret and explain menus, respond to dietary-related questions, and coordinate meal services in alignment with nutritional standards and resident preferences.
