Diesel Mechanics Multiple Shifts And Locations

We’re looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team on 2nd shift. If you enjoy working on heavy‑duty trucks, tackling a variety of repairs, and expanding your mechanical expertise, this independent retail shop is the place to do it.

🛠 What You’ll Do

• Repair and maintain large, heavy‑duty diesel trucks
• Troubleshoot and diagnose diesel engines and related systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, and more
• Work across fleet, pneumatics, auto, and trailer repair
• Apply skills in welding, engine repair, and heavy equipment maintenance

⭐ What You Bring

• 2+ years of auto or diesel mechanic experience
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across hydraulics, electrical, and PM work
• Hands‑on experience with diesel engines, brakes, transmissions, and fleet maintenance
• Must have your own hand and air tools

• Diesel or auto mechanic certifications (preferred, not required)
• Technical school degree is a plus
• Experience as a higher‑level lube tech or in heavy‑duty truck/trailer repair

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport, MN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
