DevSecOps Engineer

Overview

Acuity, Inc. seeks aDevSecOpsEngineerto support secure, automated delivery of cloud-based solutions for a federal client. This role embeds security across the software development lifecycle and partners with engineering, platform, and operations teams to build secure, scalable, and compliant systems.

TheDevSecOpsEngineer designs andmaintainsCI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated security controls, and release guardrails that improve delivery speed, consistency, auditability, and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, andmaintainsecureCI/CD pipelinesfor application, platform, and data workloads
• Integrate automatedsecurity scanning, policy enforcement, and test controlsinto build and deployment workflows
• Implement andmaintaininfrastructure as codefor cloud environments and shared platform services
• Support secure provisioning, configuration, and release management across development, test, and production environments
• Embed security controls into delivery workflows, platform configurations, and deployment patterns
• Automate vulnerability detection, remediation workflows, compliance checks, and release gates
• Supportsecrets management, identity integration, access controls, and secure configuration baselines
• Monitor pipeline health, deployment activity, and platform security posture; troubleshoot issues and drive corrective action
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, controls, security checks, deployment procedures, and operational standards
• Improve delivery reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency through automation and standardization

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experienceinDevSecOps, DevOps, cloud engineering, or secure platform delivery
• Experience designing, building, or supportingCI/CD pipelinesin cloud-based environments
• Experience withinfrastructure as codeand automated environment provisioning
• Experience integrating security tools, controls, or policy checks into software delivery workflows
• Experience withAWSand core cloud security concepts, includingIAM, logging, encryption, and network controls
• Experience with scripting and automation for builds, deployments, testing, or operational tasks
• Strong understanding ofsecure SDLC, vulnerability management, configuration management, and compliance-oriented delivery
• Experience supporting deployment and change control across development, test, and production environments
• Experience working inAgiledelivery environments
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withAWS-native CI/CD, security, and monitoring services
• Experience withcontainerization and orchestrationtechnologies
• Experience withstatic, dynamic, dependency, container, or infrastructure security scanningtools
• Experience supportingGit-based workflowsand branch-based release controls
• Experience withsecrets management, IAM, audit logging, and operational security controls
• Experience supportingfederal, regulated, or compliance-driven environments

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

Clearance Requirement

• Must be aU.S. Citizenwith the ability to obtain andmaintainU.S. suitability
