Posion Ov erview As De velopmen t Manag er, you will manag e the da y-to-da y fundr aising oper aons, c ontribut e to seng c ampaign goals and s trategies, and or ganize mee ngs with curr ent and pot enal donor s to culv ate relaonship s. Your objecv e includes cr aing a div ersified funding s trategy t ailor ed to the or ganizaon's r equir emen ts, enc ompassing various donor sour ces and solicit aon me thods, including gr ant wring. Responsibilies: Fundr aising ● Lead and manag e major fundr aising c ampaigns in c oordina on with the De velopmen t Commi ee and Ex ecuv e Dir ector ● Prospect f or ne w funding sour ces, ulizing a mul-channel pr ocess ● Establish posiv e relaonship s with individual donor s, corpor ate, civic, and g overnmen t organizaons ● Collabor ate with the Ex ecuv e Dir ector to align fundr aising e fforts with or ganizaonal g oals and priories ● Collabor ate with and support the Ex ecuv e Dir ector and De velopmen t Commi ee in e fforts t o engage the Boar d in fundr aising Grants ● Write and main tain gr ant summaries tha t outline deliv erables, r eporng r equir emen ts, and other relevant details ● Independen tly iden fy, writ e, manag e, and submit gr ant proposals in a mely manner ● Main tain a mas ter gr ant and r eporng c alendar , ensuring all deadlines ar e me t. ● Work with the Pr ogram Manag er, Community Eng agemen t Manag er, and other s taff to gather program in forma on f or gr ant reporng and submissions ● Resear ch and iden fy ne w funding opportunies and gr ants Adminis trave Ensur e mely c ommunic aons with donor s and pr ospecv e donor s, including emails, thank -you not es, and phone c alls ● Collabor ate with the Oper aons & Finance Manag er to upda te cash flo w pr ojecons based on developmen t acvies and tr ends and c ollabor ate on mon thly r econcilia on be tween both departmen ts ● Handle mailings, emails, and adminis trave de velopmen t tasks as needed ● Upda te and manag e the donor da tabase Developmen t Plans ● Develop and implemen t a compr ehensiv e fundr aising s trategy t o support the or ganizaon’ s mission and pr ograms in c oordina on with the Ex ecuv e Dir ector Perform other de velopmen t-relat ed acvies as assigned. Qualific aons ● Minimum of thr ee years of de velopmen t experience, including a c ombina on of donor r ecruitmen t, grant wring , database manag emen t, and e vent coordina on ● Effecv e communic aon and in terper sonal skills ● Exceponal or ganizaonal and wring skills, a enon t o de tail, and ability t o mee t established g oals within gh t me frames ● Strong c omput er skills, including f amiliarity with s tandar d applic aons and da tabases ● Proven self -starter with a de tail-orien ted appr oach ● Adap table and thriv es in a f ast-paced, highly c ollabor ave en vironmen t Salar y and Bene fits: This is a full-me posion r equiring some e venings and w eekends f or event support. The salar y for this posion r anges fr om $55,000 t o $65,000 per y ear, based on e xperience. St. Louis Ar ea Diaper Bank s taff is primarily in the office due t o the na ture of the w ork, ho wever, occ asional w ork fr om home is a vailable as s taff coverage allo ws.
