Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering or similar degree from a four-year college or university
• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience within an automation-manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (Catia considered)
• Experience designing parts for automation equipment including fixtures and brackets
• Background from Automation Equipment Companies preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R

Responsibilities:

• Use CAD tools to simulate, test, and document new process tooling and fixtures
• Create detailed specifications for new manufacturing equipment
• Conduct, document, and track design reviews
