Design Drafter

Take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! Doherty is currently partnering with a leader in the structural design industry located near Hanley Falls, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Drafter role to work regular day hours, Monday through Friday with a hybrid option. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $24-$28 per hour.

What you will do as a Drafter:

• Draw detailed construction documents
• Verify client designs to meet performance requirements
• Review CAD models and drawings for completeness and accuracy
• Communicate with with clients, project managers, and engineers regarding the building structure
• Analyze information available to determine and plan the best panel layout for the project

What you need to be a Drafter:

• Degree and/or experience in the construction, engineering, or architecture field is preferred
• 1+ year of drafting experience
• Technical experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or similar construction software is helpful
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and math aptitude
