Job Overview: The purpose of this positon is to provide training for newly hired temporary and full-time employees. This position also provides on-going job progression training for current employees. Tasks include, but are not limited to Critical and General Safety Rules/Guidelines, Basic Operation of Packaging Equipment, Line, Changeover Operations, Proper Response to Upset Conditions, Line Start-up, Routine Process Adjustments, etc.

This position also provides on-going job progression training for current employees. Tasks include, but are not limited to Critical and General Safety Rules/Guidelines, Basic Operation of Packaging Equipment, Line, Changeover Operations, Proper Response to Upset Conditions, Line Start-up, Routine Process Adjustments, etc. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Must be a certified Operator Specialist I or have minimum of five years operator experience. - Must be physically able to perform the essential job duties: stand approximately 12 hours per shift, lift 26-36 pounds on a frequent basis, and work in an un-air-conditioned environment - Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all established safety rules and standard operating procedures. - Will coordinate and oversee the execution and follow through of the operator training packets - Must be able to identify training opportunities and create resolutions - Must be able to communicate across different levels of management - Individual must be able to multi task and work unsupervised - Required to attend daily, weekly and quarterly meetings as necessary - Must be able to lead by example - May be required to review existing SOP’s for accuracy - Assist with Orientation and Onboarding as needed - Works overtime as required. - Performs other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: - Must be a Certified Operator Associate or have minimum of five years operator experience. - Familiar with Outlook and Microsoft Office - Type 30+ WPM ESSENTIAL PERSONAL ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven communication skills (both written and verbal), computer skills, good organization skills and a passion to teach. - Must be able to work well and effectively with others. - Maintains excellent safety record. #INDFGR
