Dentist (DDS/DMD)

Full-Time | Community Health Setting

Position Overview

The Dentist provides comprehensive, high-quality dental care to patients while supporting a team-based, patient-centered clinical environment. This role focuses on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivering compassionate dental services to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and emergency dental care, including restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics, and minor oral surgery
  • Diagnose oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Interpret dental radiographs and laboratory studies
  • Administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications
  • Educate patients and families on oral health, preventive care, and treatment plans
  • Supervise assigned Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists
  • Provide follow-up care and refer patients for specialty services as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and professional standards
  • Participate in quality improvement, staff training, and community outreach initiatives
Qualifications
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active and unrestricted Ohio dental license
  • GPR or AEGD preferred
  • Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Commitment to preventive and community-based dental care
  • Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment and time management skills
  • Experience or interest in working with diverse and underserved populations
  • Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish or English/Polish) strongly preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $180000.00 - $205000.00/yr.
