GyanSys is looking for a Databricks Architect for its direct client based in Santa Clara, CA
Primary Focus: Architecture, design authority, and client alignment
Responsibilities:
- Own end‑to‑end Databricks solution architecture (Lakehouse, Delta, Unity Catalog, security, networking).
- Translate business and data requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Define data ingestion patterns, medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and performance best practices.
- Guide architectural decisions across ETL/ELT, streaming, ML, and analytics workloads.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards.
- Act as the technical SPOC for stakeholders and Databricks platform teams.
- Review and approve code, design documents, and deployment strategies.
- Mentor Lead and Senior consultants on architectural standards.
- Bachelors degree required
