Summary: Positive Impact Health Centers (PIHC) is seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Specialist to support high-quality HIV prevention and care services through accurate, compliant, and reliable data. This role ensures the integrity of patient and grant-related data across CAREWare, E2Fulton, and other PIHC systems, with a strong focus on validation, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.


The Data Quality Specialist conducts routine audits, identifies and corrects data discrepancies, including DHE eligibility issues and ensures all reporting data meets organizational, grant, and regulatory standards. The position supports continuous quality improvement, assists with workflow and policy refinement, and provides technical assistance to internal teams. Cross-department collaboration, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to confidentiality are essential.

Requirements

  • Validate and maintain data across PIHC systems.
  • Perform routine audits, quality checks, and reconciliation activities.
  • Identify and correct patient eligibility and documentation issues.
  • Support grant reporting, performance measure reviews, and data requests.
  • Improve data workflows, documentation, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HRSA, Ryan White, and DHE requirements.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Provide data expertise and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience with healthcare, grants, or EMR/clinical data systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; CAREWare/E2Fulton experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving systems and processes.
