Full benefits + long-term growth within a globally recognized platform

We’re partnering with a top-tier international law firm (AmLaw 20) seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to join its Office of the General Counsel in New York. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility, globally integrated privacy function supporting one of the most sophisticated legal platforms in the market — working directly alongside senior leadership on data protection, risk, and compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in supporting a global privacy program, partnering across business units and practice groups to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and drive best-in-class data protection standards. This is not a siloed role — you’ll be embedded in real-time decision-making across the firm’s operations, with exposure to complex, cross-border matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), including document review and response coordination
  • Reviewing and improving privacy agreements and intake processes
  • Assisting with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and internal documentation
  • Contributing to privacy training programs across the firm
  • Supporting policy development and global compliance initiatives
  • Assisting with privacy breach response and risk mitigation
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to drive “privacy by design” across systems and processes
  • Conducting research on global regulatory developments and advising on implications

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of data privacy / data protection experience
  • Strong understanding of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ability to analyze complex legal and operational issues with precision
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across all levels of an organization
