Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilledCybersecurity Engineerto join our team, specializing in designing and implementing secure communication solutions using layered commercial products that meet NSA's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CSfC architecture for bothData-at-Rest (DAR)andData-in-Transit (DiT)and proven experience in creating compliant and secure systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure communications solutions based on CSfC standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain compliant architectures for Data-at-Rest (DAR) and Data-in-Transit (DiT).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational requirements for data security and classified communications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CSfC-related technical challenges swiftly and effectively.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity technologies and CSfC updates to continually improve solutions and compliance.
• Create technical documentation that supports CSfC solutions, including system design plans, configuration baselines, and compliance reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of CSfC implementations to identify and remediate security gaps.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum7+ yearsof professional experience incybersecurity, with at least3 yearsof direct, hands-on experience with CSfC capability packages.
• Solid knowledge and expertise in secure system engineering and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with the NSA's CSfC program, guidelines, policies, and standards.
• Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret
• Location: Onsite/ occasional hybrid allowed
• US Citizenship
• Valid US Passport
• DoD 8140 IAT II compliant

The likely salary range for this position is $199,750 - $270,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
