Customer Support Specialist (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Wenonah, NJ

Duration: Approximately 3–5 months

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Work Environment: Small law office (team of 4)

Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to support a local law office during a maternity leave. This temporary role will serve as the first point of contact for clients, managing inquiries, scheduling, and intake while providing a compassionate and professional experience to individuals seeking legal assistance.

This position is ideal for someone comfortable handling sensitive situations and who can communicate with empathy, patience, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone and social media channels
• Complete client intake forms to accurately collect and validate information
• Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for legal staff
• Perform initial qualification of clients for legal services
• Support basic social media posting and client engagement efforts
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and internal legal counsel
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

Previous customer service, administrative, or office support experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to handle emotionally sensitive client situations with empathy and patience

Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, small-office environment

Basic computer skills; experience with scheduling systems or intake documentation is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Wenonah, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
