About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. This position blends traditional customer service responsibilities with inside sales support, offering a dynamic role for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, relationship-building, and contributing to sales success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts quickly to shifting priorities, and communicates with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with a focus on service excellence and sales support
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including order entry, quote preparation, and follow-up
- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) CRM to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide product or service information
- De-escalate customer concerns with professionalism and tact
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer needs
- Support sales KPIs through proactive outreach and customer engagement (no sales quotas)
- Use Microsoft Teams for internal communication and call handling
- Perform occasional warehouse visits as needed (no travel required)
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to frequent changes in workflow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and manage conflict effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems and processes
- HVAC industry knowledge is a plus, but not required
