LHH is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to support policyholders and healthcare providers by handling a high volume of inbound calls in English and Spanish for one of our clients in Brookhaven. This role focuses on resolving inquiries related to Medicare Supplement benefits and claims while delivering a professional, empathetic, and accurate customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced call center environment and consistently aims for first‑call resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle high‑volume inbound calls from customers and providers in English and Spanish
  • Respond to questions regarding insurance benefits, coverage, claims, and policy provisions
  • Resolve issues efficiently, aiming for one‑call resolution whenever possible
  • Explain Medicare Supplement claims processes and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs
  • Assist providers with claim submission and reimbursement inquiries
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and outcomes in internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated or complex issues
  • Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Customer service or call center experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance
  • Familiarity with Medicare Supplement or medical claims strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks in a high‑volume environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
