I. Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of custodial duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe work environment; and, perform related work as required. 

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean all office spaces (offices, conference rooms, training areas) following standard and hazmat-specific sanitation protocols
• Empty all office, plant, and exterior trash bins daily, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste where applicable
• Clean wastewater pit area in the plant using high-pressure washer and appropriate PPE for chemical exposure
• Decontaminate compactor area in the plant using high-pressure washer and hazmat-safe procedures
• Clean under and around conveyors in the plant, ensuring removal of hazardous residues and safe containment
• Sanitize all dock lamps and control panels in the plant, especially in areas exposed to chemical or biological contaminants
• Clean plant floor with ride-on floor scrubber machine using approved cleaning agents for hazardous environments
• Clean exterior of loading dock area using blower and high-pressure washer, with attention to potential chemical runoff or spills
• Assist with event setup and cleanup, including proper disposal of any hazardous materials used or generated during events
• Clean all common use areas (break rooms, hallways, stairwells).
• Clean all restroom facilities (locker areas, showers, toilets, sinks).
• Monitor custodial supply levels; request supplies as needed.
• Maintain custodial equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Ensure an appropriate supply of bath towels.
• Replenish expendable supply dispensers (hand towels, tissue, soap).
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

III. Qualifications 

A. Required Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) equivalent
• 6 months General Custodial Experience

Pay: The expected base pay rate for this position is $19.50/hr. This rate represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
