Custodia l Worker Department : Maintenance Job Status: Part -Time | Full-Time Reports to: Director of Operation s Work Schedule: 8am-5pm , including weekend Position Supervised: None Job Summary: This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility, assists with minor repairs, and the upkeep of the property and equipment. Responsibilities & Duties: • Stock shelves in a neat and well -organized manner and monitor supplies for expiration dates • Ensure that all pet bowls, litter boxes, and laundry are cleaned in a timely manner • Assist kennel attendants in dog and cat kennels • Process donations of food and supplies and store them in an organized manner • Clean hallways, lobby, bathrooms, administrative offices, and break room daily • Empty and clean wastebaskets & trash containers • Assist with minor repairs around the shelter as requested • Maintain SASF vehicles (MUST have a clean driving record & valid driver’s license) • Help maintain grounds of the shelter ( e.g. raking) • Train and supervise community service workers • Perform other duties as requested Full-time positions eligible for b enefits, including medical, dental , vision , PTO and holidays after 90 days of employment .
