Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs CT Scans and Ultrasound patient examinations as per departmental policy and procedural protocol.

Accountabilities:  

Maintains daily schedule of patient exams

Initiates all required quality control and quality assurance standards through film/exam critique, equipment comparisons, monitoring of procedures and patient care standards.

Maintains established daily assignments and all equipment warm-up protocols.

Prepares/maintains/administers appropriate contrast media/imaging agents for patient administration, as per protocol.

Maintains appropriate policy and safety measures when providing services.

Participates in opportunities for patient care improvement.

Participates in patient assessment and patient/family education efforts.

Demonstrates awareness of sensitivity to patient’s rights and regulatory issues, and manages situations to reduce risk.

Provides superior customer service when relating to customers and associates.

Performs/maintains all other duties/responsibilities as required.

Provides supports by:  

Promoting consistent positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service

Education & Experience:  

 

  High School Graduate/Equivalent

  Less than 1 year of experience in Radiology   

Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience  

Licenses, Certifications, & Training:  

 

  ARDMS

Or

  

Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Basic Cardiac Life Support
