Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.

Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

  • Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Interventional Procedures.
  • Assists Interventional Radiologist proficiently during CT guidance procedures.
  • Assists Lead and Senior technologist with operations and patient workflow as requested.
  • Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions.
  • Performs protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary.
  • Acts as a resource and role model for Students, Externs, and new staff members.
Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate AMA approved school ofradiologic technology. and Minimum of three (3) years CT techexperience, upon hire and
  • five (5) years experiencein imaging.
  • Medical Radiographer: AZ, upon hire and
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Mammography, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Quality Management, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad, upon hire or
  • Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 team members and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years.
