Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
  • Active New York State License in Radiologic Technology (required at time of submission)
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (ARRT-R)
  • ARRT Certification in CT (ARRT-CT)
  • BLS Certification (AHA only)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

Required Skills & Experience

  • CT imaging procedures for:
  • Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Head, Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic, Sinuses, Soft Tissue Neck
  • Vascular Chest studies (PE, CTA, Aorta)
  • Heart imaging including calcium scoring and coronary angiography
  • Brain perfusion and carotid studies
  • Enterography and colonography studies
  • Experience with:
  • Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR)
  • 3D Rendering
  • ROI Measurements
  • PACS Systems
  • Radiation Safety
  • Contrast preparation and administration
  • Starting peripheral IVs
  • Experience in:
  • Emergency Department
  • ICU
  • Adult & Pediatric Acute Care
  • Trauma imaging
  • Outpatient imaging settings

Equipment & Systems

  • GE CT equipment experience preferred
  • EPIC charting experience preferred

Additional Requirements

  • NY License must be active and submitted with application
  • Pending licenses/certifications will not be accepted
  • No RTO allowed during the first week of the contract
  • Zoom interviews required with camera on
  • Travelers must be away from NYP for at least 1 year if previously employed permanently

  • Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed)
