How you’ll make an impact in this role
Ascension Sacred Heart is looking for a certified Critical Care NP or PA in Panama City, Florida for our ICU.
- Join an established team of 3physicians and4APPs
- Practice setting: inpatient/night shifts
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Guide a high acuity care team to provide quality, safe care to our most vulnerable patients
- Foster a collegial and dynamic working environment with you colleagues
- Experience with ICU procedures strongly preferred (central lines, intubations, etc.)

- Sacred Heart Bay opened in 1949 and was acquired by Ascension in 2019 to further the Sacred Heart mission in the Panama City community: providing excellent health care to all people, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or National Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner (NP) license required.
Education:
- Master's degree of Nursing required.
