At the LSP Criminal Investigation Division, our mission is to enforce all State criminal laws and statutes. The Division is responsible for detecting criminal activity and apprehending those committing crimes. The Division is comprised of Detectives and Narcotics Investigators.
We’re looking for a proven investigator to join our Criminal Investigations Division—a professional, pro-active team, working not only to detect, but deter criminal activity. Our Division conducts investigations related to law enforcement agency uses of force resulting in serious bodily injury or death, public corruption, interstate and/or dangerous fugitives, multi-jurisdictional felonies and violent crimes, and criminal enterprises trafficking controlled substances. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with narcotics investigations with the COPS Anti-Methamphetamine Program through the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
