Credit, Portfolio Finance Manager

We are partnered with a $50B+ AUM Credit Fund to identify a talented new team member to join this firm's Portfolio Finance group responsible for capital activity, liquidity management, debt management, portfolio finance, and treasury operations for all credit business lines including private credit and liquidity credit investments.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad, senior-facing role at a world-class credit platform, with direct exposure to senior leadership and close collaboration across Originations, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Operations, and Technology.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze liquidity needs and recommend capital activity across draw-down funds
• Manage financing lines, including processing draws and paydowns
• Model dry powder calculations and report results to senior management
• Manage and optimize the short book for cost efficiencies
• Manage FX hedging activities
• Optimize prime brokerage allocations
• Track and report counterparty risk
• Model and manage the liquidity pipeline for the Private Credit platform
• Support liquidity reporting and planning for the CLO platform
• Partner with Originations, Portfolio Management, Accounting, Operations, and Technology to develop efficient processes and reporting workflows
• Lead and contribute to treasury and financing-focused projects and initiatives

Ideal candidate profile

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in treasury, financing, or capital markets function
• Buy-side Credit experience is strongly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous, complex problems
• Self-starter mentality — able to identify opportunities, plan, and execute independently
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of building strong internal partnerships
• Collaborative team player committed to both individual and organizational growth
