Credentialed Vet Tech

VCA Bakerstown Animal Hospital in Bakerstown, PA is seeking an experienced CVT to join our 4 doctor practice!

The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• catheter placement
• radiology
• physical examinations and patient assessment
• laboratory work
• pharmacy
• compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
• surgery/ recovery

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for animals by performing routine examinations and assessments.
• Administer blood sampling and assist in diagnostic procedures.
• Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with veterinarians to ensure the well-being of all animals in the facility.
• Assist in laboratory procedures and perform basic veterinary tasks as needed.
