About The Chi Center
The Chi Center, home of SouthWest Sanctuary, is a 150-acre healing sanctuary in the hills of northern New Mexico near Santa Fe. Founded by Master Mingtong Gu, the Center is a living embodiment of Wisdom Healing Qigong — a place where ancient medicine, community, and personal transformation converge. Our mission is to serve the collective healing and awakening of humanity through retreats, programs, teachings, and the cultivation of a vibrant global community.
We are a small, mission-driven team guided by five core values: Dedication and Service with Purpose; Self-Growth with Achievement; Joyfulness with Enthusiasm; Trust with Confidence and Creativity; and Awareness with Honesty and Integrity. Every team member is both a practitioner and a steward of these values.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Creative Executive Assistant to serve as a close creative partner and operational right hand to Master Mingtong Gu. This is not a conventional administrative role — it is a dynamic, mission-centered position at the intersection of creative production, digital media, community activation, and organizational support.
The ideal candidate is a creative professional who brings strong digital media skills, a passion for wellness and spiritual development, and the organizational acuity to keep complex, multi-dimensional projects moving with clarity and flow. She brings enthusiasm, adaptability, and a deep sense of purpose to everything she does — and she sees this role as an invitation to grow alongside the work.

Personal Qualities
Ideal Candidate
We envision a person who is creative, passionate, mission-driven, and ready for the kind of adventure that comes from doing meaningful work in a living, breathing healing community. Organized without being rigid, spiritually curious without losing a practical edge, and deeply committed to the intersection of art, healing, and transformation.
Someone who can hold space for the visionary and the logistical simultaneously — who can move from coordinating retreat guests in the morning to editing a video reel in the afternoon to drafting a media pitch by evening. They bring warmth, competence, and a quiet adventurousness to everything they do.
Above all, this person understands that this role is an immersive experience. To shadow Master Mingtong Gu across creative projects, teaching engagements, and community initiatives is to be initiated into the work itself. We are looking for someone who sees that as a gift.
