As a Room Inspector at Courtyard, you’ll be the quality expert who ensures every room meets our highest standards while guiding and supporting the team behind the scenes.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Promptly report maintenance or service issues to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Identify patterns in cleanliness or service issues and support the coaching and training of Room Attendants under the direction of department leadership.
- Assist Room Attendants by delivering needed supplies or providing hands-on support during peak times.
- Collaborate closely with the Front Desk to communicate room readiness and guest-specific requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and supervisors to support overall department performance.
- Uphold confidentiality and security standards with regard to guest and hotel information.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and cleanliness.
- Solid leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach and motivate team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with hotel software or inspection checklists.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Availability includes weekends and some holidays, according to business needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Pay: $17 DOE
Hours: 8a-4:30 or 9a-5:30
Must be available to work a weekend day and some holidays
