SALARY: The salary range for this position is $59,661.54 to $96,767.80 for Schedule A, and $59,661.54 to $91,929.42 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

The Lawyers Fund for Client Protection is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. The selected individual will serve under the direction of the Court Executive, and/or designee.
REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Manage a caseload of complex, high-level reactivations and admissions filed with the Supreme Court Clerk’s office, including responding to deficiencies.
Interpret and apply relevant Court Rules, regulations, and judiciary policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency in operations.
Provide guidance and training to staff on billing matters and coordinate their activities to ensure accuracy and consistency in all billing processes.
Analyze daily financial reports to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and monitor revenue trends.
Collaborate with the Fund’s accountant to implement best practices for resolving ongoing issues and developing comprehensive financial reports.
Resolve disputes and handle complex caller inquiries in conjunction with Office of Attorney Ethics (OAE), Disciplinary Review Board (DRB), Board on Continuing Legal Education (BCLE), and Board of Bar Examiners (BBE).
Conduct system testing and needs assessments to identify opportunities for enhancements and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with the ITO, ATSCU, and Web Reporting teams to outline the workflow processes for succession planning and readmission following disbarment.
Draft Notices to the Bar and correspondence for inclusions on the Courts homepage and in the New Jersey Law Journal.
Provide advanced technical guidance and expertise to attorneys, judges, court staff, and management regarding policies, procedures, and the online attorney registration system. Serve as the subject matter expert for the CAMS 2.0 system.
Evaluate any payment issues encountered within the online registration and payment system to determine if they merit escalation to the Manager and Director for potential fee waiver consideration.
Collaborate with the Supreme Court Executive to address Ethics Hotline inquiries, develop proposals and amendments to Court rules, and clarify Fund policies.
Prepare and present recommendations and policy updates to the Director for review and approval.
Conduct quarterly reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies in CAMS status’.
Perform other related duties as required for the efficient operations of the LFCP Billing unit.
