Job Title: Courier
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated courier to perform pickups and deliveries within the city and surrounding areas. This role involves collecting incoming products, delivering outgoing items at designated times, and transporting products and materials to specified locations. You will assist with loading and unloading trucks, verify quantities of received goods, and forward related paperwork to the appropriate department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Verify quantities of received goods.
  • Forward related paperwork to the appropriate department.
Essential Skills
  • 4-5 years of experience as a courier.
  • 4-5 years of experience working in customer service.
  • Experience using computers and sending emails.
  • Proficiency in inventory and material handling.
  • Driving and truck operation experience.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Order management and invoice processing.
  • Transportation and logistics knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with the Charleston area.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and email systems such as Outlook.
  • Experience in recordkeeping, shipping/receiving, physical inventories, and quality control checks.

Work Environment

Work in a team-oriented atmosphere with an office casual dress code, including sneakers. Shift times are 11am-9pm Mon-Fri, 11pm-7am Mon-Fri, and 7pm-7am Sunday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
