Job Title: Courier

Overview

We’re looking for a reliable, service‑oriented Courier to safely transport materials and products throughout the city and surrounding areas. This role is essential to keeping operations running smoothly and requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, team environment. You’ll handle scheduled pickups and deliveries, support shipping and receiving functions, and use basic computer systems to manage documentation and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries safely and on time
  • Transport products and materials using established routes and instructions
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks and handling materials
  • Verify shipment accuracy and complete required paperwork
  • Support shipping, receiving, inventory tracking, and quality checks
  • Use scanners, computers, and email to track inventory and manage deliveries
  • Provide professional, courteous customer service to internal and external contacts
  • Communicate effectively with hospital personnel and other stakeholders
  • Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company driving standards

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of courier and customer service experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong knowledge of the Charleston area
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
  • Experience with inventory handling, logistics, or delivery operations
  • Ability to stand for most of the shift and perform physical tasks
  • Experience driving box trucks preferred; CDL exposure a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
