As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at HCA Healthcare, you’ll be a vital part of a team helping patients regain independence and live their best lives. You’ll provide hands-on care alongside Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary team that values your voice and expertise. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering occupational therapy treatments and adapting interventions as patient needs and abilities change 
• Supporting patients and families with education, encouragement, and practical strategies for recovery and independence 
• Documenting patient progress accurately and contributing input to care planning and interdisciplinary team discussions 
• Collaborating closely with Occupational Therapists to respond to changes in patient status and ensure safe, effective care 
• Serving as a trusted resource for patients, caregivers, and colleagues while fostering a positive, supportive care environment 

• Associate Degree
• (COTA) Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or (OTA) Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
