Cost Engineer

Seeking a Cost Management Analyst / Cost Controller to support a large‑scale mining & metals mega project. This owner‑side role focuses on cost control, budgeting, forecasting, change management, and executive reporting within a fast‑tracked EPC environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Track, forecast, and control project costs; analyze variances and trends
• Support internal and external change management (cost & schedule impacts)
• Process change orders, budget adjustments, and cost updates in internal systems
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, KPIs, and dashboards for leadership
• Audit contractor invoices and ensure accurate cost tracking and compliance
• Support day‑to‑day cost deliverables and continuous process improvement

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills (compound formulas, complex workbooks)
• Experience with Power BI reporting to executive management
• Hands‑on experience with change orders, invoices, and cost controls
• Ability to maintain spend and drawdown curves from procurement data
• Strong attention to detail; agile and adaptable
• Owner‑side project experience strongly preferred

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years cost management experience on EPC or industrial mega projects
