Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is seeking a Cost Analyst to support critical defense programs at Hanscom AFB. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data, strategy, and national security, directly influencing the financial and operational success of advanced weapon systems.

The Cost Analyst will:

  • Drive cost analysis and estimating strategies using methodologies such as analogy, engineering models, and extrapolation
  • Evaluate cost drivers across the entire lifecycle of defense systems (R&D, production, operations, and sustainment)
  • Analyze contractor performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess cost, schedule, and program health
  • Support source selections and contract pricing, influencing key government acquisition decisions
  • Build and present pricing briefings, reports, and financial models for leadership and stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop evaluation criteria and pricing strategies
  • Leverage data to support protests, claims, and acquisition milestones

Qualifications

  • ALL candidates MUST have an active secret clearance to qualify for consideration
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree within a relevant discipline or three (3) years of experience with a Master's Degree within a relevant discipline.
  • Strong background in cost analysis, pricing, or financial modeling within government or defense environments.
  • Experience with EVM and contractor financial analysis.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition /budgetary lifecycle (planning, programming, budgeting, execution).
  • Advanced analytical skills (quantitative analysis, modeling, or calculus).
  • Preference for experience with ACEIT.

Business Development

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

$12K-$135K
