Job Title: Corporate Recruiter

Job Description

A growing manufacturing organization seeks an onsite Corporate Recruiter in Groton, CT, to support high-volume hiring during a major site expansion. The role involves managing approximately 40 active requisitions, many of which are newly created positions due to growth and expanded production shifts. This recruiter will play a critical role in maintaining hiring velocity while ensuring operational continuity and a positive candidate experience. This is a full-time, 1st shift position on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume, fast-paced requisition load within a manufacturing environment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, prioritize urgent hiring needs, and coordinate interviews efficiently.
  • Own end-to-end candidate communication, ensuring timely updates and responsiveness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Utilize the company’s applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage requisitions and candidate flow.
  • Ensure all agency submissions follow established preferred vendor and hiring guidelines.
  • Support onboarding handoffs, and start-date tracking.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, including role qualification, candidate sourcing, phone screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding coordination.
  • Experience recruiting for warehouse positions such as warehouse associate, CNC machinist, and programmer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing around 15-20 requisitions simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ADP software.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and relationship-management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume hiring environment.
  • Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments is strongly preferred.
  • Open to candidates with agency recruiting experience or a manufacturing experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is set in a manufacturing setting but involves working outside the office. The role requires full onsite presence and close alignment with operational teams. The company is growing, providing opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Groton, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr.
