Managing the end-to-end Product Control processes: daily and weekly P&L reporting, financial close, including, forecasting, providing analysis, and commentary based on understanding of client mix and macro-economic outlook
Ensure the accuracy of quarterly earnings submissions and provide thoughtful analyses for senior management review
NII plan / budget rounds; liaise with the business, finance partners, and Corporate Treasury to agree assumptions; build out of 3-year NII plan; provide analysis to improve and enhance information to steer business decisions
Perform ad-hoc forecast and profitability scenarios analysis (for example, anticipating a Fed rate change, client re-pricing or re-structuring) to help business understand impact from changing market environment and to ensure our forecast is aligned to latest market information
Leverage a deep understanding of the CIB operations and financial principles and a working knowledge of key business drivers to coordinate, assess, and execute the long-term goals and priorities of the team
Proactively identify areas of opportunity to enhance controls and increase operational efficiency by closing reporting gaps, addressing data limitations, and furthering the team automation agenda
Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills
Previous experience with products including Deposits, calculating NII is a preferred
Results-oriented with the capacity and desire to work both at a strategic and detailed analysis level
Strong communication, influencing, and relationship building skills and ability to interact across different supporting and front office groups
Liquidity, Treasury, or Product Control experience preferred
Strong technical skills in using Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, and Tableau
