If you join this team you will be a part of a P&A team that collaborates with business managers across Banking products and regions, Corporate Investment Bank Central P&A, Treasury, and Strategy on various internal and external deliverables.

Role Description

This role will support the Global and Regional Product Heads for Investment Banking business. The individual will be a global liaison, collaborating with Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia finance teams to align with global priorities and execute Line of business Core Planning & Analysis activities, Competitor Market Share Analytics and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) projects.

Job responsibilities:

  • Core Planning & Analysis:

  • Oversee the annual budget and monthly forecast process for Investment Banking. This involves reviewing the consolidated budget and forecast inputs from regional and product teams for revenues, expenses, balance sheet & headcount and summarize the impact with commentaries for senior management review

  • Partner with the Regional and product P&A teams to conduct quarterly and monthly business reviews with Business Heads, providing performance updates and key product metrics

  • Manage Quarter-end earnings process for Investment Banking by preparing materials and writing performance transcripts which is presented to the Chief Financial Officer of the firm

  • Market share and benchmarking analytics

  • Lead the competitor benchmarking and market analytics team to provide weekly and monthly reporting of the firm's performance compared to competitors, key leader for market share penetration, and opportunity sizing.

  • Liaison Regional and Product Coverage Bankers to provide qualitative analysis on JPMorgan's ranking in key industries and sectors

  • Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR)

  • Manage the CCAR/International Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICCAP) forecasting agenda for investment banking, partnering with lines of business and finance and risk management functions to project Investment Banking revenues in stress conditions

  • Partner with the financial modelling group to develop and implement necessary amendments to the key CCAR revenue models for the Investment Bank and ensure the Firm is compliant with federal regulatory standards

  • Represent the Investment Banking business in CCAR review meetings with key regulators

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Results-oriented with the capacity and desire to work both at a strategic and detailed analysis level
  • Able to synthesize and articulate results to a diverse audience (i.e. Regional finance partners, CCAR project managers, Product / Regional bankers, CFO, technology)
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, as well as manage expectations of senior stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills and ability to interact across different supporting and front office groups
  • Knowledge of Dealogic, Paragon/FDW, and Firmwide Forecasting Framework (F3) a plus
  • Strong understanding of Investment Banking products and financial modelling
