A top-tier VC firm with nearly $10B raised is hiring a technically sharp Controller to join their team. This is a key hire for the firm to support internal management and be the financial face to the portfolio investment firms. What you will do:
- Provide management-company accounting
- Assist audits & tax processes (via external providers)
- Prepare/report for LPs: capital calls & distributions
- Monitor cash flow / support capital planning across entities
- Assist in fund modeling, valuations, fundraising prep
- Drive portfolio based initiatives around risk, cost mitigation, ESG, IT security, etc.
- Work closely with Founder + leadership on strategic initiatives
What You Bring
- CPA; 7-10+ years in Oil & Gas, Private Equity and/or Public Accounting Advisory
- Partnership/Fund accounting or alternative investment accounting; experience with capital-calls/distributions etc. a Plus
- Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, flat fnance environment
- Strong business acumen, excellent communicator, proactive thinker, confidentiality
