Senior Corporate Accountant
Location: Montgomery County, PA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $85,000 – $90,000 + bonus
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Atlantic Group is partnering with a publicly traded client in Montgomery County, PA to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant who will play an important role in the company’s corporate accounting and financial reporting operations.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic public-company environment where you will collaborate closely with finance, audit, and cross-functional teams. The role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial results, supporting reporting processes, and contributing to strong internal controls and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger and Close
Maintain the corporate general ledger in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation while contributing to an accurate and efficient monthly close process.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to support internal reporting and assist with external disclosures. Work with finance partners to ensure financial data is accurate and clearly presented.
SEC Reporting and Audit Support
Prepare audit-ready workpapers and assist with the preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during reporting cycles.
SOX Compliance and Internal Controls
Support SOX 404 compliance efforts, including documentation, testing, and monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting.
Process Improvement and Collaboration
Partner with accounting, finance, and other business teams to improve accounting workflows, support budgeting initiatives, and enhance reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
Experience
Two or more years of public or corporate accounting experience within a publicly traded environment. Experience with real estate or complex entity structures is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, SEC filings, and internal control frameworks. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Professional Attributes
Detail-oriented and analytical with strong communication skills. Ability to manage deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
