Job Title : Coordinator

Job Description

The Coordinator partners closely with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and IT to translate demand into an effective procurement plan that ensures material availability for production. This role maintains accurate ERP data, monitors delivery performance, and proactively resolves schedule risks while supporting continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering to understand demand and convert it into a clear, actionable procurement plan.
  • Keep enterprise resource planning (ERP) data accurate and up to date to support reliable production planning and execution.
  • Regularly review ERP data to ensure material availability for production builds and identify potential shortages or risks.
  • Coordinate and resolve potential schedule impacts to program builds caused by late or at-risk material deliveries.
  • Organize and lead regular reviews with procurement to track the status of deliveries and monitor delivery performance.
  • Perform clear-to-build assessments on production schedules to confirm that all required materials are available for planned builds.
  • Maintain, analyze, and report on demand-related metrics to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Partner with IT and other business stakeholders to improve planning processes and enhance systems that support materials planning and procurement.
  • Formulate and execute ad hoc analyses to investigate issues, support business questions, and recommend data-driven actions.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a materials planning role.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems within a production environment.
  • Ability to formulate and execute ad hoc analyses using data from ERP and related systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong listening and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and IT.
  • Familiarity with demand-related metrics and reporting.
  • Comfort working with planning processes and contributing to system and process improvements.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role in a production-focused environment that relies on ERP systems and close collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, procurement, and IT teams. The work involves frequent interaction with stakeholders, regular review meetings, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
