Schedule:

Full availability between 5:30 am – 8:00 pm, M-F required. Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Description

We are hiring Cooks to support foodservice operations in a brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital. This role prepares and serves high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and staff across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes accurately, and take pride in great food and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present hot and cold menu items for multiple meal periods
• Work grill or a la carte stations and prepare made-to-order items
• Read food tickets or follow verbal instructions accurately
• Serve customers in the café while maintaining a friendly, professional attitude
• Support patient foodservice operations as needed
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Assist with general prep, line setup, cleanliness, and basic cashier duties

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards
• Hospital or institutional foodservice experience is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
