Controller

A well-established manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller in the greater Wichita, Kansas area. This role oversees financial reporting, internal controls, and team leadership while partnering with executive leadership on strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial close
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination
• Establish and maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing, capital investments, and contract decisions

Candidates Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 5+ years of accounting experience with leadership responsibility
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proven ability to improve financial processes and performance
• Effective communicator with strong leadership and organizational skills
