Controller

San Francisco based cultural non-profit seeks an Interim Controller to oversee full cycle accounting, close and the annual external audit. The role reports to the CFO and will work alongside a 7 person accounting team. The role will work onsite in San Francisco 3 days per week in a BART and Caltrain accessible location. This is a 4 month consulting role working 35 hours per week (7 hour days). Prior non-profit industry experience is required.

Requirements:

• Experienced Consulting Controller, 15+ years experience with ownership of full cycle accounting, including oversight of AP, AR and Payroll.
• Non-Profit industry experience is REQUIRED.
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
