Controls Technician
1st SHIFT/$28-$38/hr/FULL TIME

Overview:
Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a slow release medication coating systems manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, PLCs, and HMIs to minimize downtime
- Perform wiring, installation, and commissioning of control systems and related equipment
- Provide remote technical support for the Indianapolis site and travel as needed for on-site assistance
- Support the Stoughton maintenance team with electrical and controls-related repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance and implement system upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve complex issues and drive improvements
- Maintain accurate documentation including wiring diagrams, control systems, and programming updates
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards during work activities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of maintenance experience, or an associate’s degree with 1+ year of related experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical controls or automation systems
- At least 1 year of formal training or certification in electrical, high voltage, HVAC, or related technology
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (facility maintenance, machine maintenance, equipment installation, and preventative maintenance)
- Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs, including programming and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documents
- Proficient in the use of electrical and mechanical tools
